Dear Editor,

There may be more animals coming to the farm. Additionally, more restrictions for some of the animals in the farm. Remember not all animals are equal in the farm and it is quite possible – new regulations for the farm to deal with certain animals.

I was surprised to see one of the senior members of the new main opposition party boast that they are able to take on the government as the main opposition party because they have the wealth to do so. Practically bragging they are now a powerful political party because the previous opposition party is broke and have no money to take on the government and cannot put money in the pocket of citizens.

I almost fell off my chair in shock and was very stunned that the quiet part was spoken aloud. Since the reason why the main opposition leader is being pursued is because he accumulated vast sums of money working with groups in Venezuela and in the Middle East as per the attorney representing the U.S. Government, while working through the USA. The wealth should be considered proceeds from transnational crimes and should not be allowed in the global money supply, especially when it flows through the USA. The animals in the farm will never be allowed to roam freely around the farm in others animal farms with regulations.

The displacement anywhere in the world of any main opposition party by another political party who has given out money and gifts throughout the country to convince people to vote for them is a cause for concern. Do you remember Pablo Escobar’s playbook? This becomes a bigger problem in the world for the entire global economy when the political party principals are sanctioned by the U.S. Government for several transnational crimes passing through the U.S. with links to Venezuelan senior officials and the Middle East. The farm animals must be contained and controlled for their own well being because they cannot behave themselves on the farm.

Next week will be the swearing in of the new main opposition leader and new party to participate in governance in Guyana. When this is swearing in gets done, it will drive fear into investors around the world and western governments about the new development in Guyana. Do not let them fool you. They will be worried. Less visitors to the zoo and more restrictions and oversight of the animals in the farm.

Guyanese feels as though the new political and opposition party loves them and will look out for them. However, western governments including the U.S. government and investors are aware that the only reason the principals linked to the political party have gotten into politics is to save themselves from justice and a full blown trial in the USA. The U.S. Government would not be displaying this level of activity without facts and evidence in place for a conviction in the U.S.. Also, please do not be surprised if they are other sealed indictments in the U.S. with more charges associated with more transnational criminal activities. The cheetah is not a leopard, do not be fooled by the animals in the zoo, much less the zoo.

One of the programs yesterday showed a very muscular British Muslim on social media claiming he along with his group of 6 was being held at the airport and being denied entry into Guyana. I wonder whether they were coming to enjoy the lovely tourist sites in the country or visit the South American animals in our zoo.  Maybe new well experienced farm hands for the animal farm.

There were four terrorist acts (one rumored to be covered up) in less than one year in Guyana with one leading to the death of an innocent child and several others injured victims. The terrorists are already in Guyana with access to cause more mayhem, death and destruction. We should fear what lie ahead for us due to local and regional activities. Tough times ahead for the animals in the farm and zoo.

Guyana is at a crossroads and either fork seems to have misery, death and destruction. We took many decades to get here and accelerated our situation with the prior attitude to targeted killings, drug trafficking, corruption and now access to the spoils of the oil and gas resources. The animals want improved treatment on the farm.

The U.S. government is serious about fighting the drug cartels, sanctioned Venezuelan officials and other transnational syndicates on their doorsteps. They aren’t going away until these issues are resolved and they have many years to get this done. The new normal is here as non-traditional businesses propped up by prior transnational crimes will start feeling the financial pressure due to increased scrutiny and a blockage of the drug cartels and syndicates in the Caribbean by the U.S. military.

Many local businesses will fail and lots of bodies will drop when they cannot pay their Colombian, Venezuelan, Middle Eastern and Mexican banks. There are new restrictions and new owners of the farm. Remember not all animals are equal.

The old farm hands cannot let the sanctioned duo be extradited without placing themselves and many others in great jeopardy. Everyone knew the duo could do anything in GT, they practically owned GT being allowed to do whatever they wanted and could get away with murder. Even silencing a major Wikileaks named drug baron, a former untouchable from the same farm who returned from an overseas federal animal farm back to the local animal farm.

The question is how long before the new farm owners realize they are being played, get angry and take immediate and drastic measures on the farm. All animals are not equal in the farm and all animals should be worried. There is a new regional farmer in town controlling all the animal farms and water resources. The slaughterhouse just might be for all the animals, even the ones thinking they are smarter and better than the other animals.

Let’s end with a few proverbs which reflect on the state of the local and regional animal farms during these disquiet times:

“When elephants fight, the small animals should stay out of the way.”
“When elephants fight, the ants get trampled.”
“When elephants fight, the ground trembles.”
“When the elephant fights, the mouse runs.”
“The elephant does not limp when walking among ants.”
“Chase an elephant and you’ll see how small your legs are.”
“An elephant in the room is still an elephant.”
“Even the elephant’s foot may slip.”
“The elephant never forgets.”

Look out for Animal Farm Part 3 after November 4, 2025.

Yours truly,
Marco Shaw
