This devastating blast resulted in the untimely death of six-year-old Soraya Bourne, leaving several others injured, two of whom sustained serious injuries. Early reports indicate that the police are currently on the trail of an individual believed to have a connection with the catastrophe. President Irfaan Ali, who is currently in Saudi Arabia, has instructed that images of this suspect be widely disseminated to the public with the hope of gathering more information to aid the ongoing investigation.
In his remarks, President Ali stated, “I have directed that a full-scale investigation be launched immediately,” underscoring the importance of utilising every possible resource in determining the events surrounding the dreadful incident.
