Moray House Trust warmly welcomes anyone with an interest in art or in cricket to visit an exhibition of cricket bats and balls that have been transformed into works of art.

September in Guyana began with national elections and continues with a cricket competition, the Caribbean Premier League. A progression from ballots to bats. At first glance, the two may not seem to have much in common. Yet, seventy-five years ago, the Trinidadian writer C.L.R James made a connection between them. In his famous book, Beyond a Boundary, C.L.R James linked cricket with democracy citing both as examples of the universal urge to ‘grasp at a more complete human existence.’
