China and the United States should adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, Li said, stressing that they should continue to make good use of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism, manage differences, expand cooperation through equal dialogue and consultation, and jointly promote the healthy, stable and sustainable development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations.

During his visit, Li also held talks and exchanges with representatives from the U.S.-China Business Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and some U.S. enterprises.
