West Indies Academy pacer Johann Layne has been drafted into the West Indies squad for the three-match One-Day International series against Pakistan beginning on Friday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
Layne is replacing all-rounder Matthew Forde who suffered a dislocated shoulder during a training session on Wednesday.
Layne has a record of 13 wickets in 12 List A matches and was a member of the West Indies Under-19 squad at the 2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup in 2022.
He recently earner his first call-up to the West Indies Test squad for the three matches against Australia in July.
