In a bold effort to prepare Berbice’s youth for the challenges of today’s competitive job market, Project Jumpstart is empowering young people with essential skills to jumpstart their careers and leadership potential. On July 5th and 12th, participants engaged in eight dynamic workshops led by experienced professionals, designed to inspire, educate, and equip them for success beyond secondary school.

The workshops covered critical topics such as crafting impactful resumes, effective networking strategies, mental health and wellbeing, setting and achieving educational goals, exploring study opportunities in the United States, and mastering budgeting and financial management. Each session encouraged the youth to think critically about their career paths and develop the confidence needed to navigate the world of work.
