Education minister meets with denominational board representatives

Representatives from the Ministry of Education, including Line Minister Dr Michael Dowlath, met with representatives from the denominational boards on Tuesday, June 2, to address key matters of mutual interest across the ECCE, Primary and Secondary school levels.

A press release from the ministry indicated that during the session, representatives from the denominational boards provided Minister Dowlath with an update on school operations and an overview of current and upcoming needs.

The discussion centred on advancing strategic planning through data-informed approaches, with a focus on fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.

The ministry noted that the meeting strengthens ongoing collaboration within the education sector with the shared goal of educating children for the 21st Century.

“The Ministry of Education remains committed to maintaining strong relationships with all education stakeholders to ensure quality and equity in education across all institutions,” the release said.  Loop News
