Not even PPP, with their barefaced arrogance, would contradict that during the 2020 election campaign, they benefited to the tune of tens of millions, from the very Mohameds they are persecuting. In fact, if there was any doubt about this clandestine entanglement, the loaning of a high-end luxury vehicle to the installed President, stood evidentiary to us the impoverished masses.

However, despite the aforestated corroboration, Daddy Mohamed went further to inform, the Mohameds have been donating to the PPP, dating back to Uncle Cheddi, when Baby Mohamed played with toy Lamborghinis. Therefore, from this Daddy Mohamed’s revelation, the irrefutable inference is, the Mohameds as a major political donor, are PPP through and through.

And that held true until this shocking exposé, when we the impoverished masses came to the realisation, the Americans had the Mohameds under their investigatory radar, counting some 30 months. Then it was from this exposé we learnt, between 2019 and 2023, the Mohameds failed to declare more than 10,000kg of gold, even as they avoided paying more than US$50 million in taxes to the Guyana Government.

Now, having been awakened by the Americans, saw we the impoverished masses recalling, the highly suspicious theft of 476lbs of gold from a boat in Curaçao, when PPP was a minority government. In fact, we the impoverished masses do also recall, PPP made no effort at investigating, even as they failed to address the rampant gold smuggling, which then stood at a whopping 15,000 ounces weekly.

However, considering the eye-watering amount the Mohameds allegedly owe in gold taxes, the prevailing thought was, PPP as a micromanaging kleptocracy, had to be aware of it. And most certainly they did, as Mae Thomas, a pretty face PPP Permanent Secretary, is alleged by the very Americans, to have aided and abetted the Mohameds in the commission of international gold smuggling.

Moreover, guided by the American allegations, the Mohameds were complicit with Permanent Secretary Thomas in evading taxes, even as she took bribes to facilitate government contracts. So, while we take pause to illuminate Permanent Secretary Thomas, it should be noted that the Americans used plural i.e. government officials, hence making it unambiguous that Permanent Secretary Thomas wasn’t a lone actor.

Therefore, confronted with this gold smuggling bombshell from the Americans, PPP, a party of ruthless kleptocrats, had some consequential decisions to make. And it was with a political eye on 2025, they cut loose the Mohameds, an entity that provided them incalculable millions, even as they, in a quid pro quo, turned a blind eye to their alleged illegalities.

However, having been cut loose, Baby Mohamed chose to flaunt his political aspirations, and in so doing, placed a spanner in the PPP works. For it’s no state secret that Baby Mohamed, extending his philanthropic works in PPP strongholds, is not so covertly politicking. So, with Baby Mohamed threatening PPP strongholds, PPP unleashed the policitised GRA and Police, to make their lives very difficult.

Thus, considering the animus evident between the Mohameds and PPP, we the impoverished masses, with coke and popcorn, have some decisions to make. But even as we contemplate such decisions, it shouldn’t be overlooked that the Mohameds drank champagne with PPP, even as our brothers were being extrajudicially murdered. In fact, even as we contemplate such decisions, it shouldn’t be overlooked that the Mohameds slept cozy in PPP political beds, whilst we the impoverished masses were discriminated and victimised.

Moreover, even as we contemplate such decisions, it shouldn’t be overlooked that the Mohameds embraced PPP, whilst we the impoverished masses were being mercilessly persecuted. Additionally, even as we contemplate such decisions, it shouldn’t be overlooked that the Mohameds in allegedly not paying $US50M in taxes, have taken bread from the mouths of we the impoverished masses. Therefore, considering the facts as they are, as for me and my house, with coke and popcorn, we shall not shed a tear for the Mohameds.
