EDITOR

An URGENT CALL for the Government of Guyana to HOST a NATIONAL DIALOGUE, URGENTLY for the WAY FORWARD, with ALL of the Opposition PARTIES, Trade Unions, Civil Society, Public Service Commission, Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association, and ALL Interested Groups, for a COLLECTIVE NATIONAL POSITION, and not a Government ONLY position, since NO Government is the SUM TOTAL of Knowledge, Ideas, and Strategies.

The Optics of Reform: When Participation Is Mistaken for Progress

With Respect the President of Guyana’s RECENT OVERNIGHT Trip to Washington, meeting with Secretary of State, Lobbying & Consulting Firm Continental Strategy, and assurances of “ SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP with the USA”, today “ RINGS HALLOW, untrue, insincere OR unconvincing.” Now, is EVIDENTLY a GROSS FAILURE by the Government of Guyana’s Leadership.

From my HIGH WASHNGTON BACK CHANNEL learnt Yesterday that “ Exxon’s offshore OIL operations in Guyana ARE NOT subject to the recently announced US tariffs.”

No rocket science or mental telepath or mentalist ALL the other PRODUCTS from Guyana will be with 38% Tariffs, meaning RUM, BEER, FISH, AGRICULTURE, FRUITS, GOLD, GOLD JEWELLRY, WOOD, LUMBER, SUGAR, et al.

USA’s Nobel Laureates in Economics with the 47 Team are saying, “Short Term PAIN with Long Term GAIN, meaning A GAIN for the Gross National DEBT Relief and Better Overall.”

As of March 5th, 2025, the GROSS NATIONAL DEBT of the USA  is $36.22 TRILLION, with $28.9 TRILLION held by the PUBLIC and $7.31 TRILLION as INTERGOVERNMENTAL DEBT.

Be Assured of the Renewed Assurances of My Highest Consideration
