The island of Nevis is receiving increasing recognition on the global stage, with recent features in two prominent international publications highlighting its growing appeal and diverse offerings.

On March 17, 2025, Business Matters, a leading business magazine in the UK, published an article titled “Nevis is open for business.”

The piece emphasizes Nevis’ thriving economy, business-friendly environment, and efficient processes. It highlights how entrepreneurs are benefiting from fast, hassle-free setups and a range of investment opportunities in sectors such as tourism, agriculture, financial services, real estate, and renewable energy.

The article paints a picture of Nevis as an attractive destination for business ventures, positioning the island as a place where success is accessible and supported.

Just two days later, on March 19, 2025, LA Weekly, the most widely read alternative weekly publication in the United States, also turned its spotlight on Nevis.

With over four million active monthly visitors, LA Weekly published an article titled “Nevis’ culinary scene sets it apart from other Caribbean islands.” This feature explored the island’s vibrant food culture and the growing prominence of local businesses.

The article noted that Nevis’ unique culinary offerings stand out among other Caribbean destinations, underscoring how the island’s food scene is gaining attention for its creativity and authenticity.

Nevis’ Premier, Mark Brantley, Minister of Foreign Investment in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), expressed his excitement at the global recognition during his monthly press conference on March 31.

He said: “The fact is that Nevis is getting quite a bit of positive global attention and I am ecstatic, because the world has taken notice in terms of what we’re trying to do on this little island. We’ve now become the little island that can. We can lead the way, we can show the way, and I believe that’s what we’re doing,” he said. Loop News
