CGTN – China welcomes all efforts to secure a ceasefire to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Wednesday in comments on a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.

Mao Ning said at a daily press briefing that China has consistently advocated for resolving the crisis through dialogue and negotiation from the very beginning.
