As artificial intelligence evolves, DeepSeek, a leading Chinese open-source large language model, is being adopted across industries, driving digital transformation. From education to creative work, from telecommunications to government services, DeepSeek is changing how companies operate and daily tasks are carried out.

DeepSeek’s popularity is evident. Global tech giants like Microsoft, AWS and Nvidia are joining the DeepSeek ecosystem, expanding its reach. Microsoft announced that DeepSeek-R1 is now available via Azure AI Foundry and GitHub, marking its international expansion. Other cloud providers and chip manufacturers have followed.

In China, DeepSeek is quickly integrated with applications of many companies. NetEase Youdao uses it for intelligent Q&A and creative assistance, boosting efficiency in education and writing. Yuewen Group has integrated DeepSeek into its writer assistant tool, helping authors optimize content.

At the same time, DeepSeek’s usage has surged, reaching over 30 million daily active users. China’s three major telecom operators – China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom – have integrated the DeepSeek models into their services. China Telecom’s Tianyi Cloud uses DeepSeek for automatic meeting summaries, enhancing efficiency. China Mobile integrates the models into its cloud computing platform, where users can access the models and create new AI agents. China Unicom uses it for programming assistance, improving coding efficiency.

Beyond enterprises, DeepSeek is impacting on government services. The Longgang District Government in Shenzhen has deployed DeepSeek-R1 for digital transformation, becoming the first local government in Guangdong to do so.

DeepSeek’s success lies in its efficient algorithms and open-source model, reducing reliance on high-end GPUs and boosting domestic chip development. This opens opportunities for industries like cloud computing and smart centers. DeepSeek is rapidly becoming a key player across industries, providing smarter solutions to businesses and governments worldwide.
