In a move to strengthen its regional presence and streamline operations, Agostini’s Limited officially changed its name to Agostini Limited during a meeting with shareholders on Wednesday, February 13. The company also unveiled a new logo and brand identity, marking a new chapter for the group as it continues its operations across the Caribbean and beyond.

The rebranding initiative extends to its subsidiaries across three key sectors: Consumer Products, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare, and Energy and Industrial. As a regional group with operations spanning 10 markets, over 30 countries, and a workforce of 3,500 employees, Agostini Limited has traditionally operated through more than 20 companies, each carrying different names and logos.

Group CEO Barry Davis spoke on the significance of the rebrand, stating, “This rebrand is about strengthening our position for future growth, reinforcing our collective identity, and ensuring that our employees, customers, and partners see us and our joint business ventures as part of a larger, connected, and sustainable organisation. As we approach our 100-year anniversary, it is important that we present ourselves in a manner that reflects the way we have always operated – as a strong, unified distribution partner providing a simple yet powerful gateway to the wider region.”

The updated Agostini logo features four blue leaf-like shapes, symbolising the company’s employees, partners, customers, and communities. Together, they form a spark of innovation and growth—the driving force behind the company. The blue colour signifies trust and stability.

As part of the rebrand, businesses under the Consumer Product category, managed through the Group’s joint venture with Goddard Enterprises of Barbados, will incorporate the name Acado, accompanied by a warm orange version of the new logo. Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector companies will include the name of Agostini’s most recent pharmaceutical acquisition, Aventa, alongside a vibrant green version of the logo.

In the Energy and Industrial sectors, companies will update their branding to align with the new identity, accompanied by the Group’s logo in a cool blue hue. Notably, Agostini Building Solutions will now be known as Agostini Solutions Plus.

Well-established consumer-facing brands such as SuperPharm (Trinidad), Collins Pharmacy (Barbados), CK’s SuperValu (Grenada), and Chinook will maintain their existing names.

The name changes for companies in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados will take effect on February 17, 2025. Name changes in other territories will be implemented as regulatory approvals are granted in those markets. For example, Peter and Company in St. Lucia became Acado St. Lucia on Friday, February 7, 2025.

The rebrand marks a significant milestone for the Agostini Group, emphasizing its regional presence and the value of strong partnerships. As the company continues to innovate and build sustainable businesses, it aims to set the benchmark for success and improve lives across the Caribbean.
