Sportsmax – The GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management was buzzing with excitement on Wednesday as legendary West Indian batter Chris Gayle, widely known as the ‘Universe Boss,’ visited the campus for an exclusive Meet & Greet session. As the mentor of the GL Bajaj Super Strikers Noida, Gayle’s presence electrified students and cricket enthusiasts alike.

The highlight of the event was a friendly match in which Gayle showcased his signature power-hitting, much to the delight of the gathered audience. His charismatic presence on the field was matched by his warmth and engagement off it, as he participated in an interactive session where he answered fan questions, shared insights from his illustrious career, and imparted valuable lessons about the game.

Beyond the cricketing spectacle, Gayle took time to personally connect with young players, offering words of motivation and inspiring them to pursue the sport with passion and dedication. He emphasized the importance of hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship, leaving an indelible mark on the aspiring cricketers in attendance.

Speaking on the occasion, Kartikay Agarwal, CEO of GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, expressed his delight at having Gayle on campus. “Having Chris Gayle at GL Bajaj is an honour and a testament to our commitment to promoting sports and development. His journey, energy, and mentorship will inspire our students to dream big and work toward their goals—be it in academics, sports, or life itself.”

Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman of GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, echoed these sentiments, adding, “At GL Bajaj, we strongly believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Sports teach valuable life lessons—teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Chris Gayle’s visit has energized our students and players, and we are thrilled to have him as the mentor of GL Bajaj Super Strikers Noida.”

The event concluded with Gayle commending the efforts of the GL Bajaj Super Strikers Noida team and encouraging them to approach the upcoming LLC TEN10 Series with enthusiasm and determination. His visit not only uplifted the spirits of the young cricketers but also reinforced the role of sports as a powerful force in education and personal growth.
