Dear Editor,

Help me serve this cautionary Injunction on History — not only generally, for huddled global masses, but especially for pauperized and marginalized Black people in oil-rich Guyana; also those in the USA and anywhere in the African Diaspora. Most importantly, this Abeng wake-up alarm bell is sounding for the media members of the fourth estate of which I still fancy myself a part. I’ll say it bluntly, lest — like the mist over the mountain hiding the prospect behind it (my experiential metaphor for ignorance), excessive words obscure their meaning.

Obviously, Donald Trump, 47th President of the [dis]-United States, released those January 6 insurrectionists from prison to make them the foundation of his armies of gangs fighting America’s imminent 21st Century Civil War Trump’s currently conceiving with his loyal Republican conspirators.  However, unlike that taking place in contemporary Haiti —  these civil war gangs will likely be called some other nebulous name to confuse, and try to make their mission as opaque as possible; a name like DOGE perhaps?
Yours truly,
