Opposition leader Dr Keith Mitchell has announced that he will not seek re-election as political leader.

The New National Party (NNP) said Mitchell notified an NNP executive of his decision on December 13.

The party expressed gratitude for his decades of dedicated service and leadership which significantly shaped Grenada’s progress.
