Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority Kamrul Baksh expressed optimism that this joint initiative between the Tourism Authorities of Guyana and Grenada will create a positive economic impact on the economies of both countries.

“It provides an affordable option for Guyanese living in Grenada and for Grenadians living in Guyana…” the Director said.

Baksh also stated that the new flight will create opportunities for other persons to experience the diverse culture of both countries.

“From both countries, I can see the promotion increasing, and thus persons’ interest levels going up and untimately converting into the purchasing of tickets.”
