LUSIGNAN VILLAGERS – WINNING TEAM

Tuesday the Odyssey Sightseeing Tours hosted a Golf Tournament at Lusignan Golf Course. In a statement Odyssey said one team was made up of villagers from Lusignan, East Coast Demerara, while the other team was selected players from Canada, USA and other areas. In the end Lusignan won handsomely by a margin of 20 points.

The winners were awarded trophies and Golf balls, with outstanding performances coming from Mr. Kevin Dindinauth who won the Longest Drive, and the nearest pin won by Mr. Kassim Khan.

C.E.O of Odyssey Sightseeing Tours, Mr. Feroze Barakat, congratulated the winning team and promised to make the event an annual one. He also thanked all the players, staff and management of the Lusignan Golf Club for assisting in making the event a success.

Mr. Brian Hakett, on behalf of the Club, extended congratulatory messages to the winners and thank you the sponsors and all participants.
