Indeed, this story is one with a Roman underpinning, where Marcus Brutus, who once demonstrated loyalties to General Pompey, schemed the bloody assassination of Emperor Julius Caesar. But even before he conspired to assassinate, the said Brutus, who was at this time politically aligned with Caesar, opposed the very Pompey, since in his eyes he stood responsible, with blood on hands, for his father’s death.

However, the dictatorial Emperor Caesar, inclined on overruling the law courts, placed him at loggerheads with his political opponents in the Roman elite and Senate. And it’s for this very reason, Brutus who was staunchly aligned with Caesar, came to oppose him, siding with Pompey against Caesar’s forces, during the ensuing civil war.

But with Pompey defeated in the said civil war, saw a humbled Brutus surrendering to Emperor Caesar, who remarkably granted him amnesty. However, it was the very Brutus, granted amnesty by a merciful Caesar, who planned and executed his assassination. And Caesar facing a certain death, betrayal, and Brutus dagger, is reported to have said in unbelievable astonishment, “Et tu, Brute?” Which when excruciatingly translated reads, “You too, Brutus?”

In fact, it’s the very phraseology the intrigued masses speak of, in our 83000sq miles, as it relates to a PPP Assistant Police Commissioner, Calvin Brutus. For this Brutus, so intimate with the corruptible PPP, faced the indignity of not being promoted, at the hands of the PSC Chairman, Paul Slowe. But for the intervention of the PPP political puppet, Paul Slowe would have had his way, rightly ensuring the man with outstanding investigations, wasn’t counted in the police hierarchy.

Nonetheless, as it so transpired, the Americans were becoming increasingly concerned with the pervasive corruption in the Government, they had installed. As a result, pressure was exhorted on the malleable political puppet, which meant someone in the corruptible cohort had to face the executioner’s axe. But with Brutus now proving to be a political upstart, meant he was the one thrown out to face the politically affiliated SOCU wolves.

And with SOCU being a creature of the corruptible PPP, saw them compliant with their every instruction, thus recommended 240 criminal charges to the unashamedly political DPP. But with the DPP themselves being a creature of the kleptocratic PPP, meant it was almost inevitable Brutus will feel the full force of the law. The full force of the most brutal law, as he is burdened with the DPP, 240 criminal charges, easily surpassing the 19, the then record set by the political puppet.

That said, Brutus unlike the fake doctor, is not known to be one who takes it passively lying down. So being confronted with the might of the dictatorial PPP in SOCU, the seemingly rapacious Brutus threaten to make public, each and everyone of their dirty secrets. And the fake doctor, faced with being set out of the closet, warned the loquacious Brutus of the consequences of his threatened actions. Thus, with fears and threats at a fiery optimum, saw the political SOCU revealing to the masses, Brutus and his gravid wife have a grand total of $800M, with nine bank accounts, totalling some $500M.

Now Brutus, placed in a convoluted conundrum to explain the $800M grand total, argued that his millions were the product of prudent business ventures, not to mention, wedding gifts from wealthy businessmen. However, even with Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician on his side, the now exposed Brutus, could not place a rational explanatory spin on his newly acquired wealth. And with him unable to provide a rational explanatory spin on his multi-millions, meant he was tried and convicted in the court of public opinion.

Thus, this should serve as a cautionary tale for the many subservient tokens, who consider themselves invincible and irreplaceable in the corruptible PPP. For Brutus, as a High-ranking Police Officer, prepared to fall on his sword, was once counted among the PPP irreplaceables. But now considered surplus to requirements, Brutus facing political and professional execution, threatens to bring down the kleptocratic regime, leaving the PPP corruptible hierarchy to echo Emperor Caesar’s betrayed sentiment, et tu, Brute?
