Nassau, Bahamas – Congratulations are in order for 32-year-old Ivanna Seymour, who has made history as the first Bahamian captain of Royal Caribbean’s brand-new cruise ship, Utopia of the Seas. As the second-largest cruise ship in the world, Utopia of the Seas can accommodate 8,000 passengers and crew.

Captain Seymour will command the ship on its maiden voyage, setting sail from Port Canaveral, Florida, on July 19, 2024. She will proudly bring the ship into her home country, Nassau, Bahamas, on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
