Guyana’s Mixed 4x400m relay team failed to advance to World U20 Champs

(Caribbean Loop) Guyana’s mixed 4×400 metre relay team failed to advance out of this morning’s heats at the World Under-20 Athletics Championships in Lima, Peru.

The team of Enock Munroe, Narissa McPherson, Gill De Neilson and Tianna Springer finished sixth in heat three with a time of 3:26.06.

They had an overall place of 14th.

The Jamaica quartet, who were the only other Caribbean team in the mixed 4×400, managed to advance out of the heats.

Demarco Bennett, Nastassia Fletcher, Marcinho Rose and Alliah Baker finished second in heat two with a season’s best time of 3:24.77 to automatically qualify for the finals tonight.
