The six-month programme attracted participants from several administrative regions, including Regions Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, and Seven, with additional recruits from Regions Nine and Ten following a recruitment drive in Georgetown.
The two-part training programme will see three months of academic instruction followed by three months of practical, on-the-job training. Training is scheduled from 8:00 hours to 15:30 hours, Monday through Friday.
Participants were assured that successful graduates would be guaranteed employment with the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority, with ongoing training opportunities for career advancement.
