The Campbellville Secondary School is set to get a new teaching block valued at $143.9 million.
Tuesday morning Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand turned the sod for the new building.
The new teaching block will feature eight classrooms, two sanitary blocks, and a staff room, providing modern facilities that will enhance the learning environment for both students and staff.
The contract for the construction has been awarded to Kaiveri Construction Inc., and the project is expected to be completed within eleven months. (DPI)
