The Guyana Business Journal (GBJ) & Caribbean Policy Consortium are set to continue their insightful “Transforming Guyana” series with the second episode of Season III, focusing on the pivotal role of the Guyanese diaspora in the nation’s development. Scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:30 AM EST, this episode titled “Diaspora Engagement: Highlighting the Importance of the Guyanese Diaspora,” aims to unite the global Guyanese community in a concerted effort to drive forward the country’s progress.

The upcoming webinar will delve into the substantial economic contributions that the diaspora can make through investments, remittances, and entrepreneurship. It seeks to harness the vast reservoir of skills and knowledge that Guyanese living abroad can offer, targeting enhancements in local industries, education, and healthcare sectors.
