This without doubt, has to be registered as one of the most farcical PPP pantomimes. In fact, it would’ve been hilariously funny, had it not represented the serious state of affairs in Mocha. For Mocha, a community with its fair share of discrimination and victimisation, epitomises our present plight. As a matter of fact, their discriminations and victimisation we can painfully recall, of homes heartlessly bulldozed, even as crops and livestock were senselessly destroyed.

However, that wasn’t all we saw and experienced, since we are forever mentally scarred with the image of that woman, covered in mud, partially buried alive. Where the rationale for these atrocious atrocities, was the argument that the citizenry, discriminated and victimised, were obstructive to infrastructure development. Such that, argued PPP, these homes in a historical deprived Black community, would’ve been in the path of a planned new four-lane highway. However, that was a blatant misrepresentation, with the homes being a safe distance from the proposed highway, hence wouldn’t have been an impediment to drivers or pedestrians.

Now having inflicted the worst kind of dehumanising atrocities on Mocha, PPP desperate for Black validation, invited Congressman Jonathan Jackson, a Human Rights Activist, to deliver a PPP scripted speech to the Mocha masses. For it’s likely from their not so perplexing actions, the installed government were of the conviction, not dissimilar to their native Black soup drinkers, they could easily indoctrinate the American politician with PPP propaganda soup. To that end, they seconded Kwame McCoy, Soup Drinker Extraordinaire of questionable character, to meet and greet the Congressman from Illinois. However, their conviction was tragically misplaced, that the Black sycophant in Kwame McCoy, would be the ideal emissary to ingratiate PPP, to the son of Rev. Jesse Jackson.

So, it was in this context, Congressman Jackson was SUV transported to Mocha, accompanied by Kwame McCoy, the bearer of PPP propaganda soup. But the good Congressman wasn’t with an appetite for PPP propaganda, thus in no uncertain terms, stressed his preference on speaking with his brothers and sisters, the Mocha discriminated. And having spoken, the stories he heard were the experiences we eternally counted, PPP is a discriminatory, racist and vindictive political party. For he was informed on their painful experiences of discriminations, along with victimisation of any who demonstrated intestinal fortitude.

Then he was duly apprised on the intentional blocking of the Mocha canals, by the installed government, resulting in tsunami type floodings of their farmlands. In fact, down to these floodings, there was widespread destruction of crops, livestock and livelihood. Furthermore, they reported deliberate flooding to their community, as a result of intentional water drainage from other communities into their canal systems. Moreover, and most harrowingly, the Caneview residents tearfully narrate the experiences of having their homes and properties bulldozed by the installed government, among other atrocities.

However, unlike the Fact-Finding Mission, Representative Jackson, from a family of Human Rights Activists, was surprisingly given invitation by the installed government, with the anticipation he will dance to their tune. As a matter of fact, so confident were they on his compliance, that they presumptuously prepared his Mocha speech, to reflect their propaganda on developmental initiatives. But the Honourable Congressman remained wise and deaf in equal measure, to their tune, even as he proved to be a spoke in their wheel, with his insistence on speaking with the citizenry. Thus, in so doing, Congressman Jonathan Luther Jackson valiantly stood up for the people of Mocha, rejecting the propaganda soup, Kwame McCoy the Token Extraordinaire and in extension PPP, had to offer.
