In a recent development, the Guyana Police Force took Mr. Kadackie Amsterdam to court without notifying his legal team, attempting to have him remanded. Mr. Amsterdam was arrested and charged with Cybercrimes. The incident occurred today and drew significant attention as it unfolded.

Alerted to the situation, Mr. Amsterdam’s attorneys promptly attended the court proceedings. Despite the Police Prosecutor’s opposition to bail, Magistrate Ms. Mc Gusty granted bail to Mr. Amsterdam. The bail was set at GYD 200,000.
