From his tenure as General Secretary to his esteemed service in ministerial posts during our party’s time in government, he left an indelible mark on our political landscape.

I am personally indebted to Mr. Clarke for his mentorship, guidance, and profound wisdom. His legacy will continue to guide and inspire us as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. In this moment of sorrow, let us take solace in the memories we shared with Mr. Oscar Clarke and in the enduring impact of his legacy.

May his family find comfort in the outpouring of love and support from our party members and the wider community. Please accept my deepest condolences, and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and with all those who mourn the loss of a true leader and friend.

With sincere sympathy,

Yours truly,

Roysdale Forde, S.C, M.P
