What is Happening? 

The Ministry of Public Works, Guyana has  undertaken the improvement/upgrading  work of the East Bank Demerara Public  Road. The work involves upgrading of  existing roadway and the drainage  structures between Good Success and  Timehri. Under this contract, Sheladia  Associates Inc. is the consultant and China  Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is  the Design and Build Contractor.

Start date: Wednesday, 17th April, 2024  

Duration: 4 days (24hours  

continuously) 

Start time: 6am on 17th April, 2024 End Date: 21st April, 2014 

Current Activity in Progress: 

Traffic Count Survey 

  • A group of 2/3 people (Survey team) will  conduct the survey starting from Good  Success to Timehri at two (2) locations as  mentioned in the above map. 
  • Video cameras will be used to  conduct the survey. 

All motorist and pedestrians are kindly  asked to adhere to all road safety  measures in place
