EID-AL-FITR marks the END of RAMADAN and FASTING.

EID AL-FITR is celebrated for ONE to THREE days, depending on the country. It is FORBIDDEN TO FAST ON THE DAY OF EID, and a specific EID prayer is practiced for this day.

Zakat Al-Fitr is COMPULSORY upon every self-supporting adult Muslim who has food more than their needs, on behalf of themselves and their dependents. Translate to approximately USD $5. (FIVE Dollars) for each person.
