Caribbean Life and Schneps Media said due to Burke’s excellence and impact made through CGID they look forward to celebrating and honouring him, while also connecting him with like-minded individuals and professionals.

For over 20 years, Schneps Media has been highlighting individuals like Burke.

In a comment, Burke told Village Voice News he is humbled by the recognition. According to him, GCID is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of the Caribbean people and critical to that is good governance. This is the reason, he said, why he holds the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) government accountable for its racist and divisive policies because these are not only bad for governance but create tensions and divisions in the society which hinder the peace and economic development of all.
