DOHA, Hamad International Airport (HIA), QATAR

The $16 Billion Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Airport City in Doha, Qatar spans 29 square kilometers, 60 per cent on land reclaimed from the Arabian Gulf. Doha, Qatar: The total number of inbound visitors to the State of Qatar reached about 393 thousand, recording a monthly increase of 36.1%.

HIA is home to five-star airline Qatar Airways, our architecturally stunning, supremely efficient, and truly welcoming airport is a genuine gateway to the world, serving over 360,000 flights and 30 million passengers every year. Upon completion, it will be able to manage 50 million passengers per year, although some estimates suggest the airport could manage up to 93 million per year, making it the second largest airport in the region after Dubai.

HIA redefines what passengers can expect from an airport. Qualities such as comfort and ease; facilities such as check-in and entertainment; aspects such as culture and elegance – we want to surprise and delight you at every turn.

HIA is an architectural masterpiece where innovation and beauty combine. Why our systems are efficient yet simple, and our service thoughtful and generous. In all these we are proud to represent our nation. Qatar embodies opportunity, ambition, inspiration – and a new era for society. Hamad International Airport is at the forefront of this vision.

Qatar International Food Festival with over 100 kiosks   Food enthusiasts rejoice at the Family Zone within Expo 2023 Doha, located in Al Bidda Park. This gastronomic extravaganza, running until February 17, showcases an unparalleled culinary experience for visitors of all ages.

One of the festival’s most anticipated attractions is the return of “Dinner in the Sky,” an elevated dining experience that suspends guests 40 meters above ground. Guests can savor a luxurious three-course meal while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding skyline.

The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) has announced on its social media that Qatar’s population surpassed 3 million in January 2024

QATAR is HEAVILY FOCUSED on Conventional and Renewable HYDROGEN Technologies, Hydrogen Economy, Hydrogen Infrastructure, and Policy and Regulatory Frameworks for Hydrogen.

Hydrogen’s importance for Qatar is becoming more evident as the transition to low-emission technologies is accelerating. Hydrogen and its carriers – chemicals used to help transport the gas – can become a part of Qatar’s energy export portfolio, and can be utilized in Qatar’s steel, aluminum, fertilizer, transportation, and power sectors.
