SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
Pursuant to Regulation 16 of the Co-operative Societies Regulations, Cap. 88:01,
and Orders of Court made by the Honourable Mr. Justice Navindra Singh as
follows:
(a) Dated the 30 th day of September, 2022 and entered on the 01 st day of November,
2022, in the matter of Mehalai Mc Almont, et al -and- Guyana Public Service Co-
operative Credit Union Ltd., et al – Action No. 2022-HC-DEM-CIV-FDA-797;
(b) Dated the 15 th day of December, 2023 and entered on the 21 st day of December,
2022, in the matter of Mehalai Mc Almont, et al -and- Guyana Public Service Co-
operative Credit Union Ltd., et al – Action No. 2022-HC-DEM-CIV-FDA-797; and
(c) Dated the 06 th day of February, 2024 and entered on the 06 th day of February,
2024, in the matter of Mehalai Mc Almont, et al -and- Guyana Public Service Co-
operative Credit Union Ltd., et al – Action No. 2022-HC-DEM-CIV-FDA-797.
I hereby give notice that a Special General Meeting of the GUYANA PUBLIC SERVICE
CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT UNION LIMITED, Reg. No. 849, will be held on Saturday,
March 02, 2024, at 10:00hrs at the CRITCHLOW LABOUR COLLEGE, Wolford Avenue,
Thomas Lands, Georgetown, Guyana.
The Special General Meeting will be held both virtually (online) and in person, at sites
(to be announced later) to be set up in all ten administrative regions.
The agenda will be as follows:
1. Call to order
2. Credit Union prayer
3. National pledge
4. Chairman’s remarks
5. Motions:
a) Motion to recall the current Committee of Management of the GPSCCU
b) Nomination of new Committee of Management Members
c) Motion that the following nine (9) officers of the GPSCCU not be re-elected to
serve on the Committee of Management:
i. Ms. Karen Vanslutytman-Corbin
ii. Ms. Gillian Pollard
iii. Ms. Ruth Howard
iv. Ms. O. Saskia Eastman-Onwuzirike
v. Mr. Charles Ogle

Pursuant to Regulation 18 of the Co-operative Societies Regulations, Cap. 88:01,
and the above-mentioned Orders of Court made by the Honourable Mr. Justice
Navindra Singh in the matter of Mehalai Mc Almont et al, -and- Guyana Public Service
Co-operative Credit Union Ltd., et al – Action No. 2022-HC-DEM-CIV-FDA-797, the
Vice-Chairman of the Committee of Management performing the duties and functions of
Chairman, Mr. Patrick Mentore will preside over the meeting.
