2023 International Horticultural Exposition or Expo 2023 is an International Horticultural Expo to be hosted by Doha, Qatar. The Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha is being held from October 2, 2023, until March 28, 2024. Spanning 1.7 million square meters, the event takes place in Al Bidda Park, one of the biggest parks in Doha which overlooks the Persian Gulf.
The Expo is organized under the theme “Green Desert, Better Environment“. An 80-hectare (200-acre) site at BIDDA Park. QATAR with 119 Embassies, and 88 Pavilions are at BIDDA Park. Join a global movement towards a greener tomorrow and be part of a momentous celebration of green innovation and cultural immersion, promising a remarkable experience for travelers and innovators alike.
Early December 2023 Dr. Shamir visited QATAR including the DOHA EXPO 2023 and visited 47 Pavilions. MY TOP 7 Nations’ Pavilions are, The Kingdom of SAUDI ARABIA ( 360 GIGANTIC Views of the Pavilion, on CLOUD SEEDING, Agriculture, Desert Reclamation); QATAR ( Agriculture, Solar, Manufacturing); KUWAIT ( Agriculture); ALGERIA ( Agriculture & Solar); ETHOPIA ( Agriculture); JAPAN (Agriculture & Solar); and TURKEY ( Agriculture, Solar, Manufacturing).

Much Learning from the 88 Nations Pavilions’ activities on the Environment, Water, Air, Oceans, Health, Climate, Technologies, Education, Businesses, Manufacturing, Robotics, STEM, ChatGPT, Ai, with MOST of the Pavilions are with HUGE 3D Viewings, making the experience educational, informative, and entertaining via COOL HEADSETS. Expo 2023 Doha Reaches One Million Visitors Since its Launch on October 2nd, 2023. To Run for 179 days, more than 3 million visitors are expected.

Flag Plaza is the newest art installation in Qatar. This is where 119 flags have been raised, forming a community space for people to view and enjoy. The flags represent the nations with diplomatic missions accredited by the state, the European Flag, the United Nations Flag and the Gulf Cooperation Council Flag.
It was inaugurated on 4 October 2022 in a grand ceremony attended by H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, several ministers, along with ambassadors of more than 100 nations.

Doha Expo 2023, which will run until March 28. Doha Expo 2023 has been a platform for people in Qatar to engage with local and international agricultural organizations. It is the first ever A1 international horticultural exhibition in the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.
MENA Region 20 Countries are Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Hydroponics, a predominant system, is commonly used by Qatari farmers, especially to grow local fruits and vegetables with minimal water resources. Qatar also launched a national agriculture project in 2021, which was developed through an aquaponic system that utilizes aquaculture and hydroponics. The data indicated that the project’s production capacity will reach 32,000 metric tons per year, and it applies to the horizontal farming system.

24 December 2023: ” Doha, Qatar: Expo 2023 Doha, More than 300,000 flowers were used to depict the white and maroon flag, symbolizing the unity and pride of Qataris in their country a new record in Al Bidda Park, where visitors from all backgrounds have gathered to draw the largest Qatari flag made of local flowers to celebrate the 2023 Qatar National Day. Expo 2023 Doha continues to offer unique and interactive experiences and activities to visitors of Al Bidda Park until March 28, 2024.”
