This award recognises the work done by male leaders across Guyana, the award redresses the underrepresentation of men and transforms how male leaders are viewed in Guyana. The organisers noted that the award attracted over 100 nominations for consideration by the judges to recognise the contributions of male leaders in any sector of the country.
