China assisting the Philippines in rescuing abducted Chinese nationals

China is proactively assisting Philippine law enforcement agencies in rescuing abducted Chinese nationals in Manila, said the Chinese embassy in the Philippines on Friday.

As per a report, six Chinese citizens were kidnapped in an offshore gambling-related case this week. The embassy said the Chinese government cares about the safety of every Chinese citizen and firmly opposes any form of gambling activities.
