As we celebrate a remarkable milestone, the 18th anniversary of the Alliance for Change, it is an honour to speak about an organization that has been at the forefront of positive change and progress in our society for nearly two decades.

The Alliance for Change was founded and launched in 2005 on the principles of unity, innovation, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals and communities. Over the past 18 years, this organization has lived up to its name and truly been an alliance for change in so many ways.

First and foremost, the Alliance for Change has been a champion for social justice. It has fought tirelessly for equality, fairness, and the rights of all people, regardless of their background, race, or socioeconomic status. Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and direct action, this organization has helped to bring about significant changes in our society, from pushing for equitable distribution of Guyana’s resources and opportunities in advocating for criminal justice reform and along with electoral reform.

Secondly, the Alliance for Change has been a beacon of hope for those in need. Through its various platforms and community initiatives, it has extended a helping hand to countless individuals facing adversity through pro-bono assistance especially in the legal aspect. The Alliance for Change has consistently demonstrated a commitment to making the world a better place for everyone.

Moreover, the Alliance for Change has been an advocate for environmental stewardship and sustainability. In an age where environmental concerns are paramount, this organization has worked diligently to raise awareness about climate change, promote clean energy, and champion conservation efforts. It is essential to recognize that addressing environmental challenges is crucial to ensuring a sustainable future for our planet.

The Alliance for Change has also played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and unity within our communities. It has brought together individuals and organizations from diverse backgrounds to work towards common goals. This spirit of cooperation has been instrumental in bringing the truth out as it sees it, addressing social issues, and building stronger, more inclusive communities. We are the backbone for unearthing corruption and highlighting these on both local and international platforms.

As we celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Alliance for Change, let us not only look back at the remarkable achievements of the past but also look forward to the promising future it holds. With each passing year, this organization continues to evolve and adapt to the changing needs of our society, proving that it remains dedicated to its mission of creating a better world for all.

Finally, the Alliance for Change has been an unwavering force for good, inspiring us to be agents of change in our own lives and communities. As we mark this special anniversary, let us recommit ourselves to the values and principles that this organization embodies. Together, we can achieve even greater progress and continue to be an alliance for change, making our world a better place for generations to come.

Thank you and happy 18th anniversary to the Alliance for Change
