We need to plan, work and act together with implementations for our collective future, as we recognise each other with Blessings, RESPECT, and Trust. The GOAL must be the inclusivity of ALL people, with shared responsibilities, with equity, fairness, and transparency. We are STRONGER TOGETHER not with DIVISION by political parties or races. NO ONE should be excluded from the BLESSED OIL WEALTH Blessings to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana.

On 13 August 2023, at Critchlow Labour College, ZOOM and ZOOM recording 7 Guyana’s Patriots, shared their individual and collective experiences with LIVED Experiences of AFRO Guyanese Marginalization especially, accelerated since August 2, 2020, with the PPP Administration.

Knowing, Listening and Reading on the many experiences, I arrived at the conclusion that the PPP Government is BUILDING WALLS between the TWO MAJOR RACES, when it is in Government, and should be BUILDING BRIDGES.

It is not too late, for His Excellency President Ali, to take the Executive Leadership and REACH OUT to the Leader of the Opposition Party, Civil Society, NGOS, Individuals and Youths, to chart a better course for ALL Guyana.

It should be remembered, with OIL BLESSINGS, GUYANA print, voice, and social MEDIA is being GLOBALLY, reviewed by Experienced Staff who are reporting DAILY to their Ruling Families, High Officials, CEOs, and Bosses, at Gulf Cooperation Council ( GCC, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman) and  Global Countries, so it is wise for the PPP Government to take the LEADERSHIP ROLE to reach out, for improvements, without further delay.

Words to remember: “IF there is NO MUD on your feet, there will be NO FOOD” to eat.

Can WE NOW Expect Government and the Opposition to Talk???

  1. August 18, 2023.   QUOTE “In politics as well as in the public interest, it is advisable to listen to all sides, government, and opposition. To ignore either of the two can be to your disadvantage especially when it comes to being knowledgeable. One should listen to what both government or opposition spokespersons have to say, but the freedom to agree or disagree is an inalienable right. Sincerely, Clement J. Rohee.”

We will ALL Agree after 3 years of the PPP Government, the TIME IS OVERDUE, for meaningful, productive, and balanced DECISIONS for the betterment of all Guyanese.

Do hope the PPP Government takes note of the Stabroek News Letter, followed by their CONCRETE ACTION, based on this Very TIMELY Comment from a very experienced PPP person, Current GECOM Commissioner, Former Minister, and Former Ambassador to USSR.  Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Hon. Clement J. Rohee.

We will eagerly look forward to HE President Ali inviting the Leader of the Opposition, NEXT WEEK URGENTLY, to discuss the many pressing items of NATIONAL Interest.

Smart, Strategic and Savvy LEADERS in the PPP Government with a 1 seat majority in Parliament, should know the wisdom of LISTENING and WORKING with the OPPOSITION and CIVIL SOCIETY.

During my 4 years, 2016-2020, tenure in Kuwait, I worked and served ALL Guyanese, including SUPPORTING 3 HIGH PPP Officials for the following items:

One asked for my support to be United Arab Emirates Consulate in Guyana, AND Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Consulting Contracts; another wanted Saudi Investment, and the 3rd. asked for a larger Kuwait contract from KFAED USD $1.6 Million for the EC Road.   Ambassador Dr. Shamir supported all three and has the emails evidence. Which PPP Ambassador or Minister or VP or Prime Minister or President, can match this type of balance in decision making to the OPPOSITION PARTY?

Since Guyana’s Birth on May 26, 1966 our two main political parties’ rivalries, with half the population suffering whilst they are supporters of the opposition party, MUST END. When an ELECTIONS is OVER, we MUST ALL Work together CO-OPERATIVELY.

ZERO CORRUPTION

The PPP should be aware that, especially the VOTING population AND THE YOUTHFUL NEW Critical Thinking VOTERS are aware and very knowledgeable on Peeping Tom’s August 16, 2023, QUOTE. “The DANGERS of YES MEN” and “ But perhaps the most worrying feature is the tendency to surround oneself with mediocrity, opportunists, lackeys”

TRUTH be told SOME of THIS SAME Trait was evidenced in a FEW of the 2015-2020 APNU-AFC Government Leaders where “ a small inner circle of 1 , 2 or 3 ran things and made the decisions, come hell or high water.”  Perhaps, one of the reasons is, they are out of office, by 1 MP seat, around 7,000 votes.

One APNU person is known to amass great wealth and arranged for a family member to be the agent to receive FEES for a Government’s HUGE Banking transaction, with BIG FEES. Am sure the Current Leader of the Opposition and a few members of his team, are aware of this, very corrupt person, who should be the FIRST CASE for GRA and SOCU, to set the Example, Tone and NEW Style of Governance, in a 2025 People Centered Government with Equity, Fairness and Transparency.

IF, the Opposition is the NEXT Government in 2025, it will be expected to do much better than the Immediate PAST TWO Governments of Guyana.

To an objective observer perusing the print, voice, and social media coverages, it is pellucidly clear that Guyana needs a system of ZERO CORRUPTION, and for ALL the Corrupt persons when proven by GRA, SOCU, Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), and the Courts, MUST receive the maximum penalties, including FORFEITURES and JAIL TIME.

Yours Truly, will strongly advocate for “ A MONTH AMNESTY PERIOD” after which FORFEITURES and PENALTIES will be the MAXIMUM for Proven in Courts, CORRUPTIONS, applicable to ALL including the past Governments’ Presidents, Prime Ministers, Vice Presidents, Ministers, Officials, Businesspersons, and Individuals.  Am reliably informed that NO IMMUNITY EXITS for fraud and corruption to Guyanese Officials. There is much empirical evidence from many nations leaders that they are IN JAIL Today. Pakistan Prime Minister is in 3 years jail time and Niger’s Leader to be charged for TREASON.

VERY TIMELY LESSON for Guyana FROM Singapore.  August 16, 2023.  “About S$1 billion (US$736 million) in properties, cars, bank accounts, cash and goods were seized, frozen or issued with prohibition of disposal orders in connection with the investigation.”

VOTERS in LGE 2023 and General Elections 2025

Most polls in Guyana, is with a pollster’s personal preferences, in the choice of who, when, where, AND TYPE OF questions asked, with the intention and goal is to impress the PPP leaders, for contracts, favors, et al. The recent local Government elections are the empirical evidence of the voters’ mood and choices. No spinners or propagandists can erase the truth.

We do Remember, the APNU and AFC announced that they will not contest the elections until a NEW VOTERS LIST is available. Closer to voting APNU agreed to contest in a FEW AREAS of their stronghold.  So, it was an uneven LGE contest between PPP and APNU. This is a fact. Many propagandists are with short memories.

The PPP spent huge amounts and MY PPP back channels say “they are not pleased with the Return on Investment for the LGE.” This is a known FACT to ALL in Guyana.

Remember the last two Governments, APNU+ AFC and PPP, BOTH, had a one seat MP majority, approximately 7,000 votes. In 2025 the FIRST PEOPLE/Amerindians and THE YOUTH will be the TWO main KEYS.

The recent MADHIA evidence, poor treatment, poor respect, poor compensation, and a make-believe/Sham “COI”, will result in LESS support to the PPP, not more, when the VOTES are COUNTED in 2025. NEW educated, fair, and balanced PERSON will EMERGE, I know, Time WILL Tell.

The Youth Voters are a HUGE BLOCK, are much more critical, from their experiences with the outcomes and deliverables, for their votes.

In Berbice, am daily being told of the massive amounts of INDO GUYANESE HOUSES that are BOARDED UP, due to their continuing PERMANENT MIGRATION, Visitors Visas persons with overstaying foreign visits with NO TO RETURN, and the back trackers etc.

The current Opposition, and Government in Waiting is publicly communicating their “PEOPLE CENTERED PLAN” including BETTER HEALTH; EDUCATION Support; NEW Minimum Wage of USD $1,000: for ALL WORKERS in Government and Private Employers; CASH TRANSFERS, etc. etc. etc.

Most Guyanese are currently suffering with the high costs of food and services to live a simple life for themselves and families, as they daily watch the TOP 1 %, 3 Fs, families, friends, and favorites, with ALL the Luxuries of Life with their many varieties of BIG BOYS’ TOYS, power, and arrogances, including abuse to girls and women.

BOOKS Publications

There is an URGENT need for many persons who served the Guyanese Nation, to document their LIVED experiences, for the RECORD, in BOOKS’ publications, as GUIDES for FUTURE Leaders.  Hope more will follow the ONE example as hereunder.

Dr. Cheddi (Joey) Jagan Jr. speaks out on some present Guyanese Politicians.

His Excellency Dr. Cheddi B. Jagan, is one of our TWO EQUAL fathers of Guyana, and the other EQUAL Father of the Guyana Nation, is His Excellency Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham, Esq. SC, OE, who is reportedly the godfather for Dr. Cheddi ( Joey) Jagan Jr. Dr. Joey, has seen, known and learnt, many things from BOTH the TWO most outstanding Guyana’s Fathers, and we are wiser with his occasional writings, as hereunder. Food for thought with daily misrepresentation, misinterpretations, and propaganda, from ALL levels.

“Present Guyanese politicians should aspire to hold to their beliefs while seeking compromises like my father, President Cheddi, because he never changed politically, not even for a second, and, combined with his integrity, honesty, and humility – no Guyanese can dislike or hate him, except Freddie Kissoon and Kit Nascimento.

“My father and mother disliked Nascimento vehemently and many people in the PPP today know that very well (but they themselves are caught in the 5th dimension PPP) and they just have to check Kissoon and the diatribes he wrote against Jagan – but –‘strange bedfellows’ lead in only one direction- calamity- alas Charrandass. Yours sincerely, Cheddi (Joey) Jagan(Jr.)”

Quote President JFK “A rising tide lifts all boats.” The phrase is commonly attributed to John F. Kennedy, who used it in a 1963 speech to combat criticisms that a dam project he was inaugurating was a pork barrel project.

My Hope, Wish and Prediction for Guyana, IS, for an INFLUENCER CHANGE from Washington, SOON, for “ a National Unity/Shared Governance, with CIVIL SOCIETY, and MORE reasonable Royalties from ExxonMobil.”

Onward & Upward towards “One People, One Nation, One Destiny.”
