An argument between two brothers ended fatally after a disagreement erupted over them calling each other names. The incident occurred at around 7:30 hrs  Friday at Stewartville.
The victim has been identified as Jermaine Goring, a 35-year-old Welder of Lot 75 ‘B’ Sara Lodge, Stewartville, West Coast Demerara.
The suspect has been named as Frank Junior Goring, age 27, of the said address.
The 2 men were said to be preparing to cast a water trestle when the incident occurred. Reports are that the now-deceased man rushed to the suspect and dealt him a cuff. The suspect, who had a knife in his possession, dealt his brother several stabs to his body, causing him to receive injuries and fall to the ground and become unconscious.
He was rushed to the hospital by their parents where he died while receiving treatment. The suspect was arrested and is currently in custody.
