We know for the last 7 years, NO PPP Congress, so how can we expect the PPP to manage Guyana with Democracy? Leadership starts with SELF. PPP was founded on 1 St. January 1950, as a MARXIST party by its Constitution, which was not changed to date. Most of its top leaders were trained in the Soviet Block, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Cuba and the Acabre College (Guyana) for MARXIST INDOCTRINATIONS. The 31st Congress was at Essequibo from 17 to 19th December 2016.
In comparison, the PNCR National Congress was immediately after Covid-19 lockdown ended, The last PNCR Congress was on December 18, 2021, with the next National Congress during 2023, is the expectation.
The AFC National Executive Conference (NEC) was also after Covid-19 lockdown, ended. The last AFC NEC was on 11 June 2022, with the next NEC during 2024.

How did the PPPC govern 1992-1997 without a majority? President is elected from the party with the most votes! Published reports and articles are numerous that the USA was against Dr. Cheddi and Mrs Janet Jagan who were self-proclaimed supporters of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) to hold political power in Guyana. Also reported that Janet Jagan is the family of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg who were sent to the USA electric chair for being Soviet spies in 1953.
Many records will confirm that the Jagan’s championed USSR’s communism and were the recipients of huge fundings from the USSR, East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Communist Party of Greece, et al, to support, build, and expand the PPP. Many will remember PPP GIMPEX was the store to sell the various support items received including motor cars, LADA from USSR. Those who know of the GIMPEX operations will conclude that the assistance to PPP by many multiples exceeded the USA assistance to HE LFSB for the PNC.

TIME reported on October 4, 1963 “Private Company.” The most dramatic evidence, though, is GIMPEX. As a colony, Guiana must have Britain’s consent to conduct trade behind the Iron Curtain. But a “private company” can proceed on its own. Hence GIMPEX. Organized 21 months ago, GIMPEX is run by Jagan’s own People’s Progressive Party and operates as an extension of the government. Last month Gimpex moved into potatoes, onions, and garlic with imports from Poland and Czechoslovakia; it is filling lumber orders for East Germany and Russia. To Cuba it ships railroad ties and rice; in return, Castro sends cement, printing machinery and foodstuffs.”
TIME reported on October 4, 1963 “During British Guiana’s crippling, 79-day strike, GIMPEX saved the day for Jagan. When food reserves dried up and the opposition threatened to starve the government out of office, GIMPEX imported petroleum products, flour, and other staples, using Cuban and Russian ships. Last July (1963) GIMPEX actually managed some indirect aid from Cuba. The company sold $1,000,000 worth of railroad ties to Cuba, and the money—paid in advance—was lent by GIMPEX to Jagan’s government.”

Jagdeo is a Hindu Nationalist racist to the bone. As for Burnham he had to fight colonialism white Supremacy, the Black middle-class colonials, and the PPP. Look at the record against the PPP for 23 years. Feed. House and Clothes yourself. Free education from kindergarten to university. Most of the Indian middle class of a certain age were and are beneficiaries. The Country today is benefiting from Burnham’s policies. Finally, more East Indians left Guyana under the PPP rule than under PNC.”
