The Mayor of Georgetown, H.W Pt. Ubraj Narine, bids farewell to the esteemed United States (U.S) Ambassador Sarah Ann Lynch. On behalf of the Mayor and Councillors of the City of Georgetown, Narine presented a token of appreciation to the outgoing ambassador in recognition of her “exemplary service and unwavering commitment to strengthening the bond between the United States and Georgetown.”
 
In a statement Narine expressed gratitude for the ambassador’s invaluable support and said he recognised their instrumental role in enhancing the relationship between the United States and Georgetown. “Their diplomatic efforts have not only strengthened bilateral ties but also fostered international cooperation and understanding.”
 
The mayor also took the opportunity to wish the out-going ambassador continued success and fulfillment in her future endeavors whilst “highlighting the positive achievements made during the ambassador’s tenure.” 
 
He also made known the city looks forward to further collaboration and opportunities to strengthen the bond with the U.S. “The City Council expresses its sincere appreciation for the ambassador’s service and wishes Her Excellency the very best in her future endeavors.”
