His Worship Mayor Pt. Ubraj Narine recently concluded a visit to the iconic City Hall building in Georgetown, further strengthening community engagement and promoting the rich heritage of the city.
During the visit, Mayor Narine had the opportunity to explore various areas of City Hall, including the main hall, council chambers, and administrative offices. Accompanied by Kabila Hollingsworth assistant City Engineer, Mayor Narine was reminded of the building’s historical significance, architectural beauty, and role in shaping the development of Georgetown.
Speaking about the visit, Mayor Narine expressed his admiration for City Hall and its cultural value, stating, his visit to City Hall was a truly remarkable experience with all that’s being done to ensure its completion. The building stands as a testament to our city’s vibrant history and serves as a reminder of the progress we have made over the years. I am proud to witness firsthand the architectural grandeur and appreciate the efforts that have gone into preserving this iconic structure.”
