Broomes began by expressing her belief that Solomon Sharma, a local politician, would serve Region 10 well. She then addressed the young people directly, cautioning them about individuals with hidden agendas who may try to manipulate their minds. She criticized the practice, stating that it undermined the dignity and respect that young people deserved. “I don’t believe you deserve that. I think you deserve to be respected,” Broomes emphasized, pointing out that housing and education were fundamental entitlements that should not be used as campaign tools.
