Mayor Pt. Ubraj Narine attends 19th Edition of the Project Qatar Exhibition and Conference, Fostering Investment, Economic Growth, and Innovation.
His Worship Pt. Ubraj Narine has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to economic growth and innovation by attending the highly acclaimed Business Summit Under the Patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar H.E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
Seen as a visionary leader with a passion for empowering the local business community, Mayor Narine’s presence at the Project Qatar conference reaffirmed his dedication to fostering a thriving economic landscape within the City of Georgetown. The conference, which was held from May 29- June 1 served as an invaluable platform for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and forging meaningful connections between influential business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
During the event, Mayor Narine engaged in insightful discussions with renowned thought leaders and innovators, exchanging ideas on cutting-edge technologies, sustainable practices, and emerging trends shaping the business world. His active participation and eagerness to learn from industry pioneers underscored his commitment to keeping the City of Georgetown at the forefront of economic development.
Narine also took advantage of the prestigious gathering to showcase the vast potential and unique opportunities that the City of Georgetown offers to businesses and investors. He emphasised the need for robust infrastructure and pro-business policies that make it an ideal destination for companies looking to establish or expand their operations in the City of Georgetown, Guyana.
In his keynote address, the Mayor outlined his vision for the City of Georgetown’s future, highlighting key initiatives aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, supporting small businesses, and attracting foreign direct investment.
Narine’s presence at the Business conference also served as a testament to his commitment to building strong partnerships between the public and private sectors. He met with prominent industry leaders, discussing potential collaborations and investment opportunities that would bolster the City of Georgetown’s economic ecosystem and create jobs for its citizens  His dedication to enhancing the business environment and fostering innovation has positioned the City of Georgetown as a hub for economic growth and opportunity.
