It was George Santayana who asserted—“Those who forget history are condemned to relive it.” And reliving it we’re, consequence of America meddling in our elections, to deliver the post-1992 PPP criminality. That PPP criminality, which underpins Permanent Secretary Thomas’ Miami International Airport (MIA) ignominy. That PPP criminality that empowered a murderous Phantom Squad, to extrajudicially execute hundreds of innocent Guyanese.
Thus, we pause to mourn the Bacchus brothers, who faced death for exposing the Phantom Squad. Pause to mourn Ronald Waddell, one of the many hundreds of Afro-Guyanese, disproportionately executed by the Phantom squad. Pause to mourn Satyadeow Sawh, a sitting Minister, who was allegedly murdered by PPP criminal elements. Pause to condemn Roger Khan, a convicted narco-trafficker, who was given free rein by PPP, to inflict his own brand of Justice. Pause to condemn Ronald Gajraj, former Home Affairs Minister, who was linked to the murderous Phantom Squad? Where so America condemned was he, that his visa was revoked, with then President Bharat Jagdeo, pressured to remove him from office.
History repeated
Which takes us to 2020, when America once again meddled in our elections, to install PPP. Where in so doing, they disregarded PPP sordid history, condemning us to relive it. However, many reminders they had, with PPP criminality on full display. For their Presidential candidate, of 19 criminal charges, was made persona non grata by Canada. Their installed Attorney General, faced multiple criminal charges. Their installed Finance Minister was answerable to multiple criminal charges. Their former NICIL Head, was burdened with multiple criminal charges.
Nevertheless, despite these notorious reminders, America blinded by oil, once again interfered to install them. Where in so doing, they disregarded PPP criminal history, condemning us to painfully relive it. And reliving it we are, as PPP unconscionably returned us, and in the process jeopardising America’s national security, back to post-1992 criminality.
The Mohammeds
Thus, it’s in this context we appraise the Mohammeds, and their relationship with the criminalised PPP. For it’s no secret that the Mohammeds are under American investigation. Further, it’s common knowledge that they’re without American visas, having had same revoked over a decade ago. And complicating the aforementioned facts, are criminal allegations, which include money laundering. Murder. Gold smuggling. Narco-trafficking.
Then there’s the flaunted Lamborghinis. The flaunted mansions. The flaunted billions. The flaunted philanthropy. The flaunted PPP association. Additionally, this we’re reminded: The America PR Firm investigation stunt, costing millions, to self-investigate. Which translates to them investigating themselves, synonymous with the student marking his own test paper, to award himself top marks. And top marks they certainly awarded themselves.
Thus, in the context of what’s known and credible allegations, suspicions are irrevocably plastered on the Mohammeds.
Mark’s take
Which brings us to aforementioned ignominy involving PS Thomas, who being on America’s watchlist, was duly arrested at the MIA. However, that was just the beginning, for she also faced the indignity of being handcuffed, a 3hrs interrogation, forfeited visa, along with phone confiscation. Thus, observing such never before seen aggression, the topical question is—Why?
To that end, we revisit the former Home Affairs Minister Ronald Gajraj, a comparator, who was involved with the phantom squad. For we recall, his castigation was only a punitive visa revocation, since he only posed a threat to us, and not the Americans. Au contraire, PS Thomas was handled most aggressively: visa revoked, phone confiscated whilst enduring 3hrs interrogation. Were this the likely underpinning reason: Unlike Ronald Gajraj, America likely considered PS Thomas and in extension PPP, a National Security threat—WHY?
Where to answer why, we must revisit the recent American communique, when the Embassy faced increased threats, necessitating beefed-up security. Thus, my postulation: This embassy threat translated to a threat on America’s National Security. And it was this threat, likely with other concerns, that was the catalyst for PS Thomas differential treatment. However, in so doing, raised many unanswered questions;
- Was it America’s miscalculation, disregarding history, to install a criminal PPP, that now poses a National Security threat?
- What role did PS Thomas play in this America National Security threat?
- What role did the Mohammeds play?
- Are the Mohammeds another Roger Khan?
- What other nefarious secrets are PPP concealing?
- Who else is on America’s watchlist?
- Which other countries will join in revoking visas?
- Are we heading towards a pariah State?
Thus, this we’re forced to confront, as we contextualise recent events, PPP is returning us to post-1992 criminality, and the dark days of death and terror.
