Cheryl Jacob, a resident of Willemstaad in No. 7 Village West Coast Berbice, has been listed as a candidate for the upcoming Local Government Elections scheduled for June 12, 2023 by the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C). However, Mrs Cheryl Jacob is deceased.

Thursday Opposition Member of Parliament Vinceroy Jordan placed the information on social media. This afternoon, the deceased daughter, Ms. Joanna Jacob, has taken to her Facebook, demanding answers and demanding those responsible “FIX IT!!! ” Jacob’s father’s name also appeared on the list.

According to the daughter of the deceased woman,  “I’m still waiting on someone from the PPP/C party to give us a proper reason as to why my parents’ names are on a list without their permission, mostly importantly why were their signatures forged!  Y’all have no idea how annoyed I am, worse yet my mother’s funeral flyer has been going viral because of y’all dirty politics game… That is NOT okay with me. That’s just straight up disrespectful to her family. It’s like we can’t even mourn our mom’s death in peace, suddenly it turned into politics.  I’m gonna say this again… Whoever is responsible, FIX IT!!!

Ps: I want the public to know that our family had no idea about what went down and we do not condone it! Also, if you’re gonna come under my post with a trashy comment just keep scrolling.”
