He was picked up by Police ranks and public-spirited citizens in an unconscious condition and taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, East Bank Demerara where he was pronounced dead.

Rayan Khan, a 49-year-old resident of Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara who was a passenger in the car at the time was also taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where he was seen and examined by a doctor on duty and was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
