The accreditation process involved a rigorous evaluation of ACI’s academic programmes, facilities, faculty, and administrative policies. ACI’s accreditation demonstrates its dedication to providing a high standard of education that meets the needs of its students and the wider community.

In addition to receiving accreditation, ACI is also proud to introduce its latest additions to its programs, academic tourism courses from the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality in the UK. Offered through ACI, are the Levels 3 and 4 Diploma courses in Hospitality and Tourism which equip learners with comprehension of the field and its crucial functions, and help students acquire advanced academic skills that can be utilized in a professional setting.

Dr. Anand Arulsamy, CEO of the Life Skills Education Institute,a counterpart of ACI offering holistic wellbeing training, conveyed his delight regarding the National Accreditation Council’s recognition of ACI and the introduction of the Hospitality and Tourism courses. He expressed that ACI, now the authorized teaching center of Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, imparts global standard education in hospitality and tourism management to students from Guyana. This will enable them to match the international level of training in this field.

Mr. Marcel Hutson, Executive Director of the NAC, remarked that ACI has made excellent strides in the promotion of a professional environment made sustainable through education. He posited that ACI’s education platforms and delivery are aligned to H.E. President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s commitment to ensuring world-class education is accessible to Guyanese.

The Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality is a well-respected organisation that has been providing education and training to the tourism and hospitality industry for over forty years. The introduction of these courses at ACI, will allow students to access outstanding education and training in the discipline from the prestigious body.
