20-year-old DeShawn Goodard is now dead following a workplace freak accident.
Reports are that the man died on the spot Monday after he was pitched across the floor at the Johnson Vulcanizing Shop in Kara Kara Linden when a tire exploded as he was preparing to patch it.
A co-worker who was on the site said the incident happened suddenly and the explosion left the youth with a slash across his neck and parts of his face.
Police investigators are probing the accident and the Labour Department has also been notified. (9Newsbreak)
