HerVenture App Empowers 12,000 Women-Owned Businesses in Guyana with Personalized Roadmap for Growth

According to a recent press release from “The HerVenture Guyana Team”, the HerVenture mobile learning app has made a significant impact in Guyana, transforming over 12,000 women-owned businesses. Developed by ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc. and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women (CBFW), the app provides a personalized roadmap for business growth and has been well-received by women entrepreneurs.

Launched in September 2021 with support from the ExxonMobil Foundation, the app offers self-paced learning tracks on various topics and is accessible to users across all regions of Guyana. The app was introduced at a crucial time for the country, as women entrepreneurs sought to start or grow their businesses post-pandemic. With support from the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security and the British High Commission, the app has led to increased financial independence and upskilling for women entrepreneurs. ACI and CBFW continue to support women entrepreneurs through their Road to Growth, Road to Finance, and Road to Leadership programs.
