Hydromet Guyana releases flood warning for Regions 2, 7, and 8.

Flood Warning  is in effect for Regions 2, 7 AND 8.

According to a release from Hydromet Guyana, “Regions 2, 7 and 8 are currently experiencing widespread and continuous Moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers, which if not yet observed, will likely result in and exacerbate flooding.”

Further it stated, “In view of the current conditions over these locations, a Flash Flood / Flood Warning is in effect.

These conditions are expected to continue into the early to mid-afternoon after which, will likely see a reduction and slow but steady improvement.”
